Halloween - Dover, NH

This Halloween I hit the streets with my camera. One street in particular actually. I set up a little photo booth and took photos of anyone who wanted them done and passed out a million business cards. The images from the night are on my site available for people to view and purchase. My goal was to pass out my business card and let people know that Joy Jill Photography is now in New England. I think it was a successful night :) A big thanks to Dave and Christine who allowed me to crash their lawn space all evening! In reviewing all the images I am posting my favorites and giving them each a winning category :) My favorite sibling outfit: On the left is the cutest photo. Right is the creepiest. Marquis Family Portrait - Rochester, NH

The Marquis Family is a cousin to my long time childhood friend. They are from Northern California and they have found themselves all the way on the East Coast here for the health of their youngest son Jack. I am not going to attempt to explain here, but the basic story is Jack has a heart condition and they have been in and out of hospitals with him his whole life. Family - Somersworth, New Hampshire

This family has been so incredibly helpful to us throughout our move! They were our only connection before moving here and they were so wonderful; giving us lots of good information about the area, introducing us to a nice church and lovely people and even allowing us to use their address for mail. I am so grateful for their help and more than happy that I could photograph their family at this time in their lives!

Burlage Family - Hamilton House, New Hampshire

I am very happy to be posting another shoot this week! I feel very blessed and am extremely grateful to my new clients who are scheduling with me and helping me get things rolling here in New Hampshire. Dover New Hampshire - Family Portraits

I have officially (since yesterday) been in New Hampshire for one month and I also officially (today) had my first photo shoot! I am SO excited to be settling in, meeting lovely people and getting work! How grateful I am right now is not really something I can even begin to express. Jocelyn was a huge help in my move to New Hampshire and it was my pleasure to photograph her lovely family. Her son is adorable and his current love and fascination is sticks :) You can clearly see it here. Fall is truly beautiful and amazing here in New England. I am already in love with having actual seasons. Ask me about this again in the dead of winter, I just might be visiting people in Hawaii ;) Thank you again Jocelyn and Bobby! It was wonderful to get behind the camera again :)
