The Nolen kids

Here you go Kelsey... you have been waiting ever so patiently for a sneak preview :) There are so many awesome ones. These dogs were great great fun. I of course had to open my big mouth and say, "Wow! Charlot is so white! How do you keep her clean. She looks fantastic!" She must have heard me cause not too long into the session they found the water and proceeded to run in the muddy edge :) It was pretty funny actually and luckily she didn't go too deep.

They look so cute here! I must say though that it is quite the effort to get animals to pose like this :) But these two were great! Many animals I photograph this would not even be a possibility.

The Wilder Baby

Ok, had to ad these two... somehow I forgot to put them on here and they are my two favorite! I love the one below cause it looks like she is telling a secret :) So cute!

This sweet little baby is Wynter Wilder. I like the title though :) "The Wilder Baby"... awesome. Wynter is actually good friends with Baby Walker from the previous post. We did their sessions at the same time which was really awesome cause we had two hours and just kinda switched back and forth between the two babies. It was VERY efficient! As you can see Wynter is quite the cutie. I absolutely LOVE her little curls!

The mother here was also super cute with her new little baby. Both these newborn sessions are first babies for the mothers. It is definitely a little different when it is your first (not speaking from experience). I just know what I see in different mothers and there is something special about the firstborn that is so exciting as it is all new. Wynter was very predictable. She just wanted to keep her eye on mom so we placed her just right so that she was looking at mom and still had great light on her :) I love it when things are simple like that!

Baby Walker

This weekend I had two newborn sessions. This was Mandy and I am so sorry, but I forgot the little guys name :) He was super cute though. Got some great naked baby shots, and he of course peed on just about every thing we set him on :) But what else would you expect? This is Mandy's first baby and she is one of the most excited, happy mothers I have ever met. Most mothers are pretty happy and excited about their new little babies, but somehow Mandy's face shown a little brighter than most :) It was great!

I love this one above... "Now put your fist right under your chin... good..." Can anyone name that movie??

What a cute little face! Stickin' out that bottom lip!

Give me your surprise face... and now your confused/scared face... He was very smart for only being 3 weeks old :) I LOVE it when babies make expressions like these. It makes them look like little people rather than tiny babies.

Studio Headshots

So this weekend I had one studio session. Tiffany models here in Japan and needed new headshots. Perfect opportunity to use my new backdrop :) She is very beautiful and was easy to photograph. Obviously models are more comfortable in front of the camera...

I would like to point out that this is using my huge window light and nothing else. It is absolutely beautiful light for pictures and I am very happy to have it :)

The Moore Family

Alright, I got to photograph this lovely family on Columbus Day. They just got back from a little family vacation yesterday and it seemed that the kids were a little tired still... :( But we still got some great shots and everyone had a good time in the end :) It was only difficult doing the family shots cause not everyone wanted to smile at the same time :) But check out my mad retouching skills! Below is BEFORE:

And this one is AFTER:

This one I only had to post cause it was just funny :) Don't cry Nicholas! Everyone else is so happy!

And Patrick was a perfect, little cutie pie once we let him do his own thing.

And of course, once the boys were just absolutely done we then had a chance to get some shots of the lovely couple :) So cute!

A New Backdrop

For those of you who don't know, this is my husband Brian. I got a new backdrop and of course since he was actually home he was my model for the first test shots, and our dog Shugo too of course :) It's a dark brownish green, and I am SUPER excited for my next studio shoot. Most of my clients want a location shoot, so it might be a bit, but I know it will get plenty of use.
